Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: Let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

Lord, how long wilt thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: But I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: A fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

For I was envious at the foolish, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Keep not thou silence, O God: Hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.

From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

To subvert a man in his cause, The Lord approveth not.

And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?

and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
