Deuteronomy 24:13

in any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.

and they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:

at his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.

And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
