The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

and could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
