Behold, I know your thoughts, And the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me.

All thy commandments are faithful: They persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: And they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: They that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: Then I restored that which I took not away.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
