And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.

Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

it came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.

And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: And let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, Neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

Make haste, O God, to deliver me; Make haste to help me, O LORD.

Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things.
