O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.

Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.

In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.

O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee; but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to destroy you. But the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also.
