lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labors be in the house of a stranger;
Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
and thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
lest thou give thine honor unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:
For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.
Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
but as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
