He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.
Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
A violent man enticeth his neighbor, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:
Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people; neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am the Lord.
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
