Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.

And I will cut off the chariot from E´phra-im, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
