And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

and it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the wayside begging:

A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
