In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tig´lath–pile´ser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and A´bel–beth–ma´achah, and Jano´ah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gil´e-ad, and Galilee, all the land of Naph´tali, and carried them captive to Assyria.
And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naph´tali, and Shechem in mount E´phra-im, and Kir´jath–ar´ba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah.
And out of the tribe of Naph´tali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Ham´moth–dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.
And she sent and called Barak the son of Abin´o-am out of Kedesh–naph´tali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naph´tali and of the children of Zeb´ulun?
