And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Le´ah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her.
For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a veil, and covered herself.
And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast.
And Laban gave unto his daughter Le´ah Zilpah his maid for a handmaid.
Are we not counted of him strangers? for he hath sold us, and hath quite devoured also our money.
Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
