Now therefore, Tat´nai, governor beyond the river, She´thar–boz´nai, and your companions the Aphar´sachites, which are beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
and God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.
then wrote Rehum the chancellor, and Shim´shai the scribe, and the rest of their companions; the Di´na-ites, the Aphar-sath´chites, the Tar´pelites, the Aphar´sites, the Ar´chevites, the Babylonians, the Su´sanchites, the De´havites, and the E´lamites,
At the same time came to them Tat´nai, governor on this side the river, and She´thar–boz´nai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
The copy of the letter that Tat´nai, governor on this side the river, and She´thar–boz´nai, and his companions the Aphar´sachites, which were on this side the river, sent unto Dari´us the king:
Then Tat´nai, governor on this side the river, She´thar–boz´nai, and their companions, according to that which Dari´us the king had sent, so they did speedily.
O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.
