And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mor´decai bowed not, nor did him reverence.
Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mor´decai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mor´decai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mor´decai.
Then was Nebuchadnez´zar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed´nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
