Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gil´e-ad, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.
Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.
And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
And their coast was from Mahana´im, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Ja´ir, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:
and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ash´taroth.
