And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gai´us and Aristar´chus, men of Macedo´nia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theater.

And when they were at Sal´amis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

and from thence to Phil´ippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedo´nia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedo´nia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedo´nia, and help us.

And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.

After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedo´nia and Achai´a, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

So he sent into Macedo´nia two of them that ministered unto him, Timothy and Eras´tus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season.

Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.

Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

And there accompanied him into Asia So´pater of Beroe´a; and of the Thessalo´ni-ans, Aristar´chus and Secun´dus; and Gai´us of Derbe, and Timothy; and of Asia, Tych´icus and Troph´imus.

And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.

Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

And entering into a ship of Adramyt´ti-um, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristar´chus, a Macedo´nian of Thessaloni´ca, being with us.

Gai´us mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Eras´tus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother.

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gai´us;

For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

and not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:

Aristar´chus my fellow prisoner saluteth you, and Mark, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)

Mark, Aristar´chus, Demas, Luke, my fellow laborers.

The elder unto the well-beloved Gai´us, whom I love in the truth.
