Jeho´ahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
Then the people of the land took Jeho´ahaz the son of Josi´ah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning!
And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
