And Micai´ah said, As the Lord liveth, what the Lord saith unto me, that will I speak.

And the messenger that went to call Micai´ah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.

And when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micai´ah, shall we go to Ra´moth–gil´e-ad to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand.

The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord.

Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the Lord your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the Lord shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.

And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

And the angel of the Lord said unto Ba´laam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Ba´laam went with the princes of Balak.

And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the Lord hath put in my mouth?

But Ba´laam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the Lord speaketh, that I must do?

If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the Lord, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the Lord saith, that will I speak?

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread:

For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

but as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
