David also took Ahin´o-am of Jezreel; and they were also both of them his wives.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahin´o-am the Jez´reelitess, and Ab´igail Nabal's wife the Car´melite.
And unto David were sons born in Hebron: and his firstborn was Amnon, of Ahin´o-am the Jez´reelitess;
and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
and Jezreel, and Jok´de-am, and Zano´ah,
And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahin´o-am the Jez´reelitess, and Ab´igail the Car´melitess, Nabal's wife.
So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahin´o-am the Jez´reelitess, and Ab´igail the wife of Nabal the Car´melite.
