Him that dieth of Jerobo´am in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the Lord hath spoken it.

And this thing became sin unto the house of Jerobo´am, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.

And it came to pass, when he reigned, that he smote all the house of Jerobo´am; he left not to Jerobo´am any that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according unto the saying of the Lord, which he spake by his servant Ahi´jah the Shi´lonite:

behold, I will take away the posterity of Ba´asha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jerobo´am the son of Nebat.

Him that dieth of Ba´asha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.

And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the Lord, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

and I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jerobo´am the son of Nebat, and like the house of Ba´asha the son of Ahi´jah:

and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the Lord: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.

I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
