and Machir took to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Ma´achah;) and the name of the second was Zelo´phehad: and Zelo´phehad had daughters.
Then came the daughters of Zelo´phehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gil´e-ad, the son of Machir, the son of Manas´seh, of the families of Manas´seh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
and half Gil´e-ad, and Ash´taroth, and Ed´re-i, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manas´seh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
Out of E´phra-im was there a root of them against Am´alek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zeb´ulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
