The sons of Amram; Aaron, and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the Lord, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abi´hu, Ele-a´zar and Ith´amar, Aaron's sons.
And Amram took him Joch´ebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty and seven years.
And Nadab and Abi´hu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not.
And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Ele-a´zar and unto Ith´amar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy.
And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Ele-a´zar and Ith´amar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,
