To O´bed–e´dom southward; and to his sons the house of Asup´pim.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemi´ah. Then for Zechari´ah his son, a wise counselor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shal´lecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asup´pim two and two.
And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with O´bed–e´dom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.
Mattani´ah, and Bakbuki´ah, Obadi´ah, Meshul´lam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the threshholds of the gates.
