The chief was Ahi-e´zer, then Jo´ash, the sons of Shema´ah the Gib´e-athite; and Jez´i-el, and Pelet, the sons of Azma´veth; and Bera´chah, and Jehu the An´tothite,
let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the Lord in Gib´e-ah of Saul, whom the Lord did choose. And the king said, I will give them.
They were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even of Saul's brethren of Benjamin.
and Ismai´ah the Gib´e-onite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jaha´zi-el, and Jo´hanan, and Joz´abad the Geder´athite,
And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Bera´chah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Bera´chah, unto this day.
