Zephaniah 3:19

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Behold, at that time I will deal with all those afflicting you. And I will save her who is lame, and gather her being thrust out. And I will give them for a praise and fo a name in all the land of their shame.

Jehovah, Your hand is high; they do not see; they see and are ashamed of the zeal of the people. Yea, the fire of Your adversaries devour them.

Woe to one destroying, and you not being destroyed, betraying and they did not betray you! When you finish destroying, you will be destroyed; when you stop betraying, they will betray you.

And the sons of ones afflicting you shall bow down to you. And all who despised you shall fall at the soles of your feet. And they shall call you, The City of Jehovah, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Violence shall not still be heard in your land, or wasting and ruin within your bor- ders; but you shall call your walls, Salvation, and your gates, Praise.

Instead of your shame and disgrace, double. They rejoice in their portion; for they shall dispossess in their land a second time; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

And do not give a rest to Him until He sets up and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Therefore, all those who devour you shall be devoured. And all the ones pressing you, every one of them, shall go into captivity. And those plundering you I will give up to plunder, and all preying on you I will give up for prey.

And out of them shall go forth thanksgiving and the voice of those who are merry. And I will multiply them, and they shall not be few. I also will honor them, and they shall not be small.

Behold! I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the recesses of the earth. Among them the blind one, and the lame one, the one being pregnant, and the one giving birth, together a great company, shall return here.

And it shall be a name of joy to Me, a praise and a glory to all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do for them. And they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the peace that I do for it.

You shall not fear, O Jacob My servant, a statement of Jehovah, for I am with you. For I will make a full end of all the nations there where I have banished you. But I will not make a full end of you, but I will correct you in judgment, and not acquit you and not leave you free of guilt.

And behold, I have stretched out My hand over you, and I drew back your portion. And I gave you to the will of those hating you, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of your wicked way.

before your evil was uncovered, as at the time of the reproach of Syria’s daughters and all the ones around her, the daughters of the Philistines who hated you from round about,.

I will seek the lost, and I will return the banished. And I will bind up the broken, and I will make the weak strong. But I will destroy the fat and the strong, I will feed them with judgment.

And the people of the land shall bury. And it shall be for a name to them, the day when I am glorified, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

And they have borne their shame, and all their acts of unfaithfulness which they have done against Me, when they dwell on their land securely, and no one terrifies;

And my enemy shall see; and shame shall cover her, the one saying to me, Where is He, Jehovah your God? My eyes shall see her. Now she shall be for a trampling, as the mud of the streets.

Jehovah has turned aside your judgments; He has turned back your enemy. Jehovah, the King of Israel, is in your midst; you shall not fear evil any more.

So says Jehovah of Hosts: In those days ten men out of all languages of the nations shall take hold, and will seize the skirt of a man, a Jew, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

And He will make you high above all nations that He has made, in praise, and in name, and in glory; and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, as He has spoken.

“and make straight tracks for your feet,” that the lame one not be turned aside, but rather healed. Isa. 35:3; Prov. 4:26

And they went up over the breadth of the land and encircled the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire from God came down out of Heaven and devoured them.

And Adoni-bezek said, Seventy kings with their thumbs and their big toes cut off used to be gathering scraps under my table. As I have done, so God has repaid me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.
