And David said to him, Do not be afraid, for doing I will do with you kindness because of your father Jonathan. And I will give back to you all the land of your father Saul. And you shall eat bread at my table continually.
O house of David, so says Jehovah: Judge justice for the morning, and deliver the one plundered out of the hand of the one oppressing, that My fury not go out like fire and burn so that none can put it out, because of the evil of your doings.
So says Jehovah, Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one plundered from the hand of the oppressing one. And do not oppress the alien, the widow, or the orphan, and do not do violence and not shed innocent blood in this place.
But I commanded them this thing, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be to you for God, and you will be to Me for a people. Also, Walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it may be well with you.

O man, He has declared to you what is good. And what does Jehovah require of you, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to be humble to walk with your God?

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and dill and cummin, and you have left aside the weightier matters of the Law: judgment, and mercy, and faith. It was right to do these, and not to have left those aside.
But woe to you, Pharisees, for you pay tithes of the mint, and the rue, and every plant, and pass by the judgment and the love of God. It was right to do these things, but not to leave aside those.
