Violence shall not still be heard in your land, or wasting and ruin within your bor- ders; but you shall call your walls, Salvation, and your gates, Praise.
And the whole valley of the corpses and the ashes and all the fields to the torrent Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate east, shall be holy to Jehovah. It shall not be torn up, and not torn down any more, forever.
Behold, I will gather them out of all the lands, there where I have driven them in My anger, and in My fury, and in great indignation. And I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to live in safety.
And I will cut a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant it shall be with them. And I will place them and multiply them, and I will put My sanctuary in their midst forever.
And you shall know that I am Jehovah your God dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall be holiness, and aliens shall no more pass through her.
In that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among cut grain. And they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left hand. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her place, in Jerusalem.
and said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem will dwell like unwalled villages, for the multitude of men and livestock in her midst.
And it shall be, as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be made strong.
So says Jehovah of Hosts: There shall yet be old men and old women sitting in the open places of Jerusalem; and a man with his staff in his hand from his many days.
And I will bring them, and they shall live in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be for a people to Me, and I will be for God to them, in truth and in righteousness.
And Jehovah listened to the voice of Israel, and gave up the Canaanites; and they destroyed them and their cities; and the name of the place was called Hormah.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no longer, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor will there be pain still; for the first things passed away.
