A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I earnestly seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You, as in a dry and weary land without water.
Tell me, You whom my soul loves, where do You feed; where do You lie down at noon? For should I be as one who is veiled beside the flocks of Your companions?
But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, a statement of Jehovah, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be to them for God, and they shall be to Me for a people.
And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will refine them as silver is refined. And I will test them as gold is tested. They shall call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, It is My people, and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.
I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live in faith in the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.
