I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my Beloved, what do you tell Him? That I am sick with love.

O My love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, as comely as Jerusalem, awesome as bannered armies.

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem; why do you awaken; yea, why do you awaken my Love until it pleases?

For so the Lord has said to me, Within a year, as the years of a hireling, all the glory of Kedar shall be ended,

For He comes up before Him as a shoot, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form and no majesty that we should see Him, and not an appearance that we should desire Him.

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered to you; rams of Nebaioth shall serve you; they shall come up for acceptance on My altar; and I will glorify the house of My beauty.

Rejoicing I will rejoice in Jehovah. My soul shall be joyful in my God. For He clothed me with garments of salvation; He put on me the robe of righteousness, even as a bridegroom puts on his head-dress, and as a bride puts on her ornaments.

And your name went out among the nations, because of your beauty, for it was perfect by My splendor which I had set on you, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

Arabia and all the rulers of Kedar, they were traders of your land in lambs and rams and goats, in these were your trade.

It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If they called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more they of his household?

And the king coming in to look over the ones reclining, he saw a man there not having been dressed in a wedding garment.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem! The one killing the prophets, and stoning the ones having been sent to her, how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it.

But the father said to his slaves, Bring out the best robe and clothe him, and give a ring to his hand and sandals to his feet.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not make forethought of the flesh, for its lusts.

For He made the One who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

but the Jerusalem from above is free, who is the mother of us all;

that He might sanctify her, cleansing it by the bathing of the water in the Word,

See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. Because of this the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
