as also the high priest, and all the elderhood witnesses to me. And receiving letters from them to the brothers, I was going, also bringing to Jerusalem the ones being bound there, in order that they might be punished.
But the ones said to him, We neither received letters about you from the Jews, nor arriving has any one of the brothers reported or spoken anything evil about you.
Because of this I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, Jesus is a curse. And no one is able to say Jesus is Lord, if not by the Holy Spirit.
For as many as are out of works of Law, these are under a curse. For it is writ- ten, “Accursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things having been written in the book of the Law, to do them.” Deut. 27:26
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, “Accursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;” Deut. 21:23
his body shall not remain all night on the tree; but burying you shall bury him the same day. For he that is hanged is a reproach to God. And you shall not defile your land which Jehovah your God is giving to you as an inheritance.
