Far be it from You to act in this way, to put to death the righteous one with the wicked one. Far be it from You. The Judge of all the earth, shall He not do justice?
Rejoice, O young man, in your youth. And make your heart glad in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.
For the Son of Man is about to come with His angels in the glory of His Father. And then “He will give reward to each according to his practice.” LXX-Psa. 61:13; Pro. 24:12; MT-Psa. 62:12
And He commanded us to proclaim to the people and to witness solemnly that it is He Himself who has been marked out by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.
because He set a day in which “He is going to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness,” by a Man whom He appointed; having offered faith to all, having raised Him up from the dead. Psa. 9:8
Now to the One who is able to establish you according to my gospel, and the proclaiming of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept unvoiced during eternal times,
But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, you are treasuring up to yourself wrath in the day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God.
So then do not judge anything before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both shed light on the hidden things of darkness and will reveal the purposes of the hearts. And then praise will be to each one from God.
For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.
For the rest, the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me in that Day, and not only to me, but also to all the ones loving His appearance.
