Also, in Judah the hand of God was to give to them one heart to do the king’s command, and of the leaders, by the Word of Jehovah.

Behold, God is mighty, and He does not despise. He is mighty in strength of heart.

One mocking the one being poor reviles this Maker, one joyful at calamity shall not be free of guilt.

One favoring the poor one lends to Jehovah, and He will repay his dealing to him.

The desirableness of a man is his kindness, and it is better to be poor than a man of a lie.

All the brothers of the one being poor hate him, and his friends also surely have been far from him; he pursues them with words, yet they are not.

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Answer a fool according to his foolishness, lest he be wise in his own eyes.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and turn from evil.

Woe to the wise ones in their own eyes, and discerning in their own faces!

And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me all the days, for good to them and to their sons after them.

And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. For, behold, I will bring an evil thing on all flesh, a statement of Jehovah. But I will give your soul to you for a prize, there on all the places where you go.

The blind receive sight, and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor are given the gospel. Isa. 61:1

For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.

But when you make a banquet, call the poor ones, the crippled ones, the lame ones, the blind ones;

And lifting up His eyes to His disciples, He said: Blessed are the poor ones, for the kingdom of God is yours.

And of the multitude of those who believed, the heart and the soul were one. And no one said any of the possessions belonging to him to be his own, but all things were common to them.

Well! For unbelief they were broken off. And you stand by faith. Do not be highminded, but fear.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be wise among yourselves, that hardness in part has happened to Israel until the fulfilling of the nations comes in;

For through the grace having been given to me, I say to every one being among you, not to think too highly beyond what is right to think. But think to be of sound mind, even as God divided a measure of faith to each one.

And may the God of patience and encouragement give to you to be mindful of the same thing among one another according to Christ Jesus,

Let it not be! We who died to sin, how shall we still live in it?

Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you all say the same, and there be no schisms among you, but you be restored to harmony, in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks to be a wise one among you in this age, let him become foolish, that he may become a wise one.

We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are not honored.

For I say this, Shame to you. So, is there not a wise one among you, not even one in your midst who will be able to judge his brother?

But if anyone thinks to know anything, he still has known nothing as he ought to know.

For the rest, brothers, rejoice! Perfect yourselves; encourage yourselves, think the same thing, be at peace; and the God of love and of peace will be with you.

Only conduct yourself worthily of the gospel of Christ, so that whether coming and seeing you or being absent, I hear the things concerning you, that you stand fast in one spirit and one soul, striving together in the faith of the gospel,

Yet as to where we have arrived, walk by the same rule, being of the same mind.

I entreat Euodias, and I entreat Syntyche, to mind the same thing in the Lord.

Set your way of life without moneyloving, being satisfied with present things; for He has said, “Not I will leave you, not ever! Nor I will not forsake you, not ever!” Deut. 31:6

And, finally, be all like-minded, sympathetic, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly,

nor as exercising lordship over the allotment given to you, but becoming examples of the flock.

I wrote to the assembly, but the one loving to be first of them, Diotrephes, does not receive us.
