But I exhort you, brothers. You know the power of sin is the Law; house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruit of Achaia, and they appointed themselves to ministry to the saints.

For indeed concerning the ministry to the saints, it is beyond necessity for me to write to you.

Because the ministry of this service is not only completely filling up the things lacking of the saints, but also multiplying through many thanksgivings to God,

So, then, as we have time, let us work the good toward all, and especially toward the household of the faith.

Therefore it is right for the overseer to be blameless, husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, well-ordered, hospitable, apt at teaching;

being witnessed by good works, if she brought up children, if she was hospitable, if she washed the feet of the saints, if she relieved afflicted ones, if she followed after every good work.

but hospitable, a lover of good, selfcontrolled, just, holy, sensible,

And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be without fruit.

For we have much joy and encouragement over your love, in that the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

But do not be forgetful of doing good and sharing, for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.

Do not forget hospitality, for by this some unknowingly took in angels as guests.

For God is not unjust, to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed to His name, serving to the saints, and now are serving.

Be hospitable ones to one another without murmurings,

Whoever has the means of life of the world, and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

Beloved one, you do a faithful thing whatever you work for the brothers and for the strangers,
