in hope, rejoicing; in distress, enduring; in prayer, steadfastly continuing;

Instead of my love, they oppose me; but I am in prayer.

Rest in Jehovah and wait patiently for Him; inflame not yourself with him who prospers in his way, with the man practicing wicked wiles.

To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. Waiting I have waited on Jehovah; and He turned to me and heard my cry.

Trust in Him at all times, you people, pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.

The expectation of the righteous ones is joyful, but the hope of the wicked ones shall perish.

The wicked one is thrust out in his evil, but the righteous one seeks refuge in his death.

Rejoice and be exceeding joyful, for your reward is great in Heaven; for in this way they persecuted the prophets, the ones before you.

But do not rejoicing in this, that the evil spirits are subject to you but, rather rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.

In your patience you will gain your souls.

And the one in the good earth, these are the ones who in a right and good heart, hearing the Word, they hold it and bear fruit in patience.

These all were continuing steadfastly in prayer and in supplication with one mind, with the women, and with Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

Therefore Peter was indeed kept in the prison, but fervent prayer was made by the assembly to God on his behalf.

And they were continuing steadfastly in the doctrine of the apostles, and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

But we shall continue steadfastly in prayer and the service of the Word!

And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

For as many things as were written before were written for our instruction, that through the patience and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

truly to the ones who with patience in good work seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility and everlasting life;

But if we hope for what we do not see, by patient endurance we eagerly await it.

And now faith, hope, and love, these three things remain; but the greatest of these is love.

Concerning this I entreated the Lord three times, that it depart from me.

For the rest, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you truly is not troublesome to me, but safe for you.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice!

being empowered with all power according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joy;

to whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, who is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

Epaphras greets you, he of you, a slave of Christ, always striving for you in prayers, that you may stand full-grown and being complete in all the will of God.

Steadfastly continue in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving,

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love, and the patient endurance of hope of our Lord Jesus Christ before our God and Father,

But we being of day should be sober, “having put on the breastplate” of faith and love, and the hope of “salvation as a helmet;” Isa. 59:17

so as for us to boast ourselves in you in the assemblies of God for your patient endurance and faith in all your persecutions, and the afflictions which you endure,

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.

But you have closely followed my doctrine, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patient endurance,

looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

that being justified by the grace of that One, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

But call to mind the former days in which having been enlightened you endured much struggle of sufferings.

For you have need of enduring patience, that having done the will of God you may obtain the promise.

So therefore we also, having so great a cloud of witnesses lying around us, having laid aside every weight and the easily surrounding sin, through patience let us also run the race being set before us,

but Christ as Son over His house, whose house we are, if truly we hold fast the boldness and rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to the One being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;

that you not become dull, but imitators of the ones who through faith and long-suffering are inheriting the promises.

And so, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Therefore, brothers, be patient until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer awaits for the precious fruit, being patient over it until it may receive the early and the latter rain.

but according as you share the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; so that you may rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His glory.

But the end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be of sound mind, and be self-controlled unto prayers;

and with the knowledge self-control, and with the self-control patience, and with the patience godliness,

If anyone gathers captivity, into captivity he goes away. If anyone will kill by a sword, by a sword he must be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
