And he said, You are lazy and idle. So you are saying, Let us go, let us sacrifice to Jehovah.

Like vinegar to the teeth, and like smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy one to those who send him.

A sluggish one’s soul is craving, but having nothing, but the soul of the diligent ones shall be made fat.

And he who is slack in his work, he is a brother to a master of destruction.

Do you see a man who is prompt in his work? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before obscure men.

serving the Lord with all humility, and many tears and trials happening to me, the ones by the plots of the Jews;

For the one having been called as a slave in the Lord is a free man of the Lord. And likewise, the one being called a free man is a slave of Christ.

The one stealing, let him steal no more, but rather let him labor, working what is good with the hands, that he may have something to give to the one that has need.

Masters, give what is the just and the equality to the slaves, knowing that you have a Master in Heaven also.

and with it all, they also learn to be idle, going around the houses, and not only idle, but also bubbling gossip, and trifling ones, speaking the things not proper.

Therefore receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have grace, by which we may serve God well-pleasingly, with reverence and godly fear;

Confess to one another the deviations from the Law, and pray for one another, that you may be healed; being very strong, the prayer of a righteous one works effectually.

Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unpretended brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,

but before all things having fervent love to yourselves, “because love will cover a multitude of sins”. Prov. 10:12

But I have against you that you left your first love.
