Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.
and I will bring them to My holy mount and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be for acceptance on My altar, for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples,
Why is this to Me; frankincense comes from Sheba, and the good cane from a land afar off? Your burnt offerings are not for acceptance, and your sacrifices are not sweet to Me.
And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, in order to prove by you what is the good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
for me to be a minister of Jesus Christ to the nations, sacredly ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the nations might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Neither present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as one living from the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God.
Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or obedience to righteousness?
I speak as a man on account of the weakness of your flesh. For as you presented your members as slaves to uncleanness and to lawlessness unto lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness unto sanctification.
Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you all say the same, and there be no schisms among you, but you be restored to harmony, in the same mind and in the same judgment.
And I myself, Paul, call on you through the meekness and gentleness of Christ I, who indeed according to face am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you;
For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God; and Jehovah has chosen you to be a people to Him, a special treasure out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but as always in all boldness even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.
But I have all things and more than enough; I have been made full, receiving from Epaphroditus the things from you, a fragrance of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.
For the rest then, brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.
But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn first to be godly to their own house and to make a return payment to their forefathers, for this is good and pleasing before God.
For what credit is it if sinning and being hit by the fist, you patiently endure? But if you are suffering while doing good, and patiently endure, this is a grace from God.
