for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it is written, “But the just one shall live by faith.” Hab. 2:4

He has walked in My statutes and has kept My judgments to act truly; he is a righteous man, living he shall live, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

Behold, the soul in him is puffed up and is not upright; but the just shall live by his faith.

And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole; and it happened, if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.

The one believing into the Son has everlasting life; but the one disobeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

For not knowing the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

But now apart from law a righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

For what if some did not believe? Will not their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God?

What then shall we say? That the nations, the ones not pursuing righteousness, have taken over righteousness, but a righteousness of faith;

For if the ministry of condemnation was in glory, much rather the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory.

For He made the One who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

And that no one is justified by Law before God is clear because, “The just one shall live by faith.” Hab. 2:4

and be found in Him; not having my own righteousness of Law, but through the faith of Christ, having the righteousness of God on faith,

“But the just shall live by faith;” “and if he draws back,” “My soul is not well-pleased in him.” Hab. 2:4; Zeph. 1:6; Mal. 1:10
