To the angel of the Ephesian assembly, write: These things says the One holding the seven stars in His right hand, the One walking in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
but bid farewell to them, saying, I must by all means to make the coming feast, the one at Jerusalem; but I will come again to you, God willing. And he set sail from Ephesus.
And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, “I will” dwell in them and “walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Lev. 26:12; Ezek. 37:27
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw on My right, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are angels of the seven assemblies, and the seven lampstands you saw are seven assemblies.
And a great sign was seen in the heavens, a woman having been clothed with the sun, and the moon was underneath her feet; and on her head a crown of twelve stars;
And to the angel of the assembly in Thyatira, write: These things says the Son of God, the One having His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass.
And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis, write: These things says the One having the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have the name that you live, and are a lifeless assembly.
And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia, write: These things says the Holy One, the True One, the One having “the key of David”, “the One opening, and no one shuts; and shuts, and no one opens”: Isa. 22:22
