for the drinking of the people quarreled with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you tempt Jehovah?

And one called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the quarreling of the sons of Israel, and because of their testing of Jehovah, saying, Is Jehovah in our midst, or not?

And Pharaoh saw that there was relief. And he hardened his heart, and he did not listen to them.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit grew hard to act proudly, he was cast down from the throne of his kingdom, and his majesty was taken away from him.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Until when will this people despise Me? And until when will they continue not to believe in Me for all the signs I have done in its midst?

for all the men who are seeing My glory, and My signs which I have done in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tried Me these ten times, and have not listened to My voice,

Until when shall I bear with this evil company who are murmuring against Me? I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel which they are murmuring against Me.

These are the Waters of Strife, because the sons of Israel contended with Jehovah, and He was sanctified upon them.

But when some were hardened, and did not obey, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, going away from them, he separated the disciples, conversing according to a day in the school of a certain Tyrannus.

But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, you are treasuring up to yourself wrath in the day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God.

You shall not test Jehovah your God as you tested Him in Massah.

Watch that you do not refuse the One speaking; for if these refusing the One divinely warning them did not escape on the earth, much rather we, the ones turning away from Heaven;

But exhort yourselves each day, as long as it is being called today, that not any of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

But I purpose to remind you, you once knowing these things, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, in the second place destroyed the ones not believing.

And why do you make heavy your heart as the Egyptians and Pharaoh made heavy their heart? When He thrust hardly with them, did they not send them away? And they went.
