O Jehovah, how many are Your works! You have made all of them in wisdom; the earth is full of Your possessions.

I will thank You, for I am awed, I am set apart; Your works are marvelous and my soul knows it very well.

To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The foolish one has said in his heart, No God! They acted corruptly; they did abominably in deeds; Not one is doing good.

Be not like the horse, like the mule, with no understanding; with bit and bridle his gear to be held in, that they do not come near you.

For he sees wise men die; together the fool and the animal-like ones perish and leave their riches to others.

And I was brutish and did not know; I was like animals with You.

I say to the ones being boastful, Do not boast; and to the wicked ones, Do not lift up the horn.

Understand you brutish ones among the people; yea, you fools, when will you be wise?

Until when, ones of simplicity, will you love simplicity? And will scorning ones desire scorning for themselves? And will fools hate knowledge?

Wisdom is too high for a foolish one, he does not open his mouth in the gate.

Surely I am more brutish than any man, and the understanding of a man is not to me.

The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master’s manger, but Israel does not know; My people have not understood.

This also comes from Jehovah of Hosts, doing wonders in counsel, making sound wisdom great.

For as the heavens are high from the earth, so My ways are high from your ways, and My thoughts from your thoughts.

Every man is being stupid from lack of knowledge; every refiner is put to shame by the carved image. For his molten image is a lie and no breath is in them.

He is great in counsel and mighty in work. For Your eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of men, to give to each man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

But God said to him, Fool! This night they demand your soul from you; and that which you prepared, to whom will it be?

But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
