He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shade of the Almighty.

Jehovah is the One keeping you; Jehovah is your shade on your right hand.

Keep me as the pupil, the daughter of the eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings,

His soul shall abide in good, and his seed shall inherit the earth.

For in the day of evil He shall hide me in His shelter; in the secrecy of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me up on a rock.

In the secrecy of Your presence You shall hide them from man’s plots; You shall cover them in a booth, from the strife of tongues.

You are my hiding place; You keep me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.

How precious is Your mercy, O God! And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of Jehovah, was captured in their pits; of whom we said, In His shadow we will live among the nations.

Therefore, say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Though I have sent them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the lands, yet I was to them as a little sanctuary in the countries there where they had gone.

And the bramble bush said to the trees, If you truly anoint me king over you, come seek refuge in my shade. And if not, let fire come out of the bramble bush and burn up the cedars of Lebanon.
