Return, O Jehovah! Until when? And give pity to Your servants.

He remembered His covenant for them, and had pity according to His many mercies.

For Jehovah will judge His people; and He will have pity on His servants.

For there is no memory of You in death; who shall give thanks to You in Sheol?

O God, until when shall the enemy reproach You? Shall the adversary scorn Your name forever?

O God of Hosts turn back, we pray! Look down from Heaven and see and watch over this vine;

even the shoot which Your right hand has planted, and on the Son You made strong for Yourself.

Until when, O Jehovah? Will You hide Yourself? Shall Your wrath burn like fire forever?

Why should the Egyptians say, For evil He has caused them to go up, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them on the face of the earth? Turn from Your fierce anger and be moved to pity as to the evil to Your people.

And Jehovah was moved to pity concerning the evil which He had spoken to do to His people.

O Jehovah, why do You make us wander from Your ways? You harden our heart from Your fear. For Your servants’ sake, return the tribes of Your inheritance.

And it shall be after I have plucked them up I will return and have pity on them, and I will bring them again, each man to Me, a statement of Jehovah, to be to his inheritance and each man to his land.

How shall I give you up, Ephraim? Shall I deliver you, Israel? How shall I make you like Admah? Shall I set you as Zeboim? My heart has turned within Me; My compassions are kindled together.

Jehovah was moved to pity concerning this: It shall not be, says Jehovah.

Jehovah was moved to pity concerning this: Also it shall not be, says the Lord Jehovah.

Who knows? He may turn, and God may be moved to pity and turn back from the anger of His face, that we will not perish.

Therefore thus says Jehovah: I have returned to Jerusalem with compassions; My house shall be built in it, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts, and a line shall be stretched over Jerusalem.

And when it rested, he said, Return, O Jehovah, to the myriads of the thousands of Israel.

For Jehovah will bring His people justice; and He shall have compassion on His servants, for He sees that their power is gone, and only the imprisoned and abandoned remain.
