For behold, Your enemies are roaring; and those who hate You have lifted up their head.

Because of your raging against Me, and because your arrogance has come up into My ears, even I will put My hook in your nose, and My bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way which you came.

To the chief musician, A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, do not be silent;

Do not forget the voice of ones vexing You; the noise of those rising up against You is going up continually.

Those vexing You have roared in the midst of Your meeting place; they set up their own signs for signs.

Ones hating Jehovah shall be found to be untrue to Him, and their time is forever.

The floods have lifted up; O Jehovah, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods have lifted their roaring waves.

Woe to the multitude of many peoples; they roar like the roar of seas; and the crash of nations, they crash like the crash of mighty waters!

And they heard him as far as this word, and lifted up their voice, saying, Take away such a one from the earth, for it is not fitting that he should live!

And much discord taking place, fearing lest Paul should be torn apart by them, the chiliarch commanded the soldiers to go down to seize him out of their midst, and to bring him into the barracks.

And Midian was subdued before the sons of Israel, and they did not lift up their heads any more. And the land had rest forty years in the days of Gideon.
