But My people would not listen to My voice, and Israel did not consent to Me.

And he said, Go, ask vessels for yourself from outside, from your neighbors, empty vessels. Do not let them be few.

And Moses and Aaron said to all the sons of Israel, At evening you shall know that Jehovah has brought you from the land of Egypt;

I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

And the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain. And the people gathered to Aaron. And they said to him, Rise up, make for us gods who may go before our face. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.

Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

They did not desire My counsel; they despised all My reproof,

So, behold, the days come, a statement of Jehovah, that it shall no more be said, As Jehovah lives who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

But they refused to listen, and gave a stubborn shoulder, and they made their ears heavy from hearing.

And coming, he finds it having been swept and having been adorned.

But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, thick and sated. And he abandoned God who made him, and fell away from the Rock of his salvation.

You forgot the Rock that brought you into being and ceased to care for God who formed you.

I am Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

How much worse punishment do you think will be thought worthy to receive, the one having trampled the Son of God, and having counted common the blood of the covenant in which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?
