And David rose up and went, and all the people with him, from Baal-judah, to bring up the ark of God from there which is called by the Name, the Name of Jehovah of Hosts, who dwells above the cherubs.

And Hezekiah prayed before Jehovah, and said, O Jehovah the God of Israel, who sits above the cherubs, You are God Himself, You alone, to all the kingdoms of the earth; You have made the heavens and the earth.

A Psalm of Asaph God, Jehovah God, has spoken, and calls to the earth from the rising of the sun to its going in.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone.

To the Chief Musician on Neginoth. A Contemplation. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my prayer, O God; and do not hide Yourself from my supplication.

To the chief musician. On the Lily of Testimony. A secret treasure of David, to teach; when he struggled with Aramnaharaim, and with Aram-zobah; when Joab returned, and struck twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt. O God! You have cast us off; You have broken us; You who were angry, take us back.

To the chief musician. Concerning the Lilies. Of David. Save me, O God, for the waters have come in to my soul.

You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

and He pulled out His people like sheep; and He pulled them out like a flock in the wilderness.

And He refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and He did not choose the tribe of Ephraim;

O Jehovah, God of Hosts, turn us again! Cause Your face to shine, and we will be saved.

O Jehovah, God of vengeance; O God of vengeance, shine forth!

Jehovah reigns; let the peoples tremble; He sits between the cherubs; let the earth quake.

He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather lambs with His arm; and bear them in His bosom; those with young He will lead;

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen on you!

And His people remembered the days past of Moses and His people, saying, Where is He who brought us up from the sea with the shepherd of His flock. Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within him,

And the likeness of the living creatures: they continually going among the living creatures. And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

And the glory of Jehovah lifted up from the cherub, over the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud. And the court was filled with the radiance of the glory of Jehovah.

And I will raise up over them one Shepherd, and He shall feed them. My servant David, He shall feed them, and He shall be to them for a Shepherd.

And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. And His voice was like the voice of many waters; and the earth shone from His glory.

And now, listen, O our God, to the prayer of Your servant and his supplications, and cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary that is desolate, for the sake of the Lord.

I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those that are Mine, and I am known by the ones that are Mine.

And he said: Jehovah came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir for them; He shone forth from Mount Paran, and He came from the myriads of holy ones. At his right hand a law of fire went forth to them.

Now the God of Peace, the One leading up out of the dead, the great Shepherd of the sheep, in the blood of the everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus,

For you were “straying sheep,” Isa. 53:4-6 but now you are turned back to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

And at the appearing of the Chief Shepherd, you will receive the never-fading crown of glory.

And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

And the people sent to Shiloh, and they took from there the ark of the covenant of Jehovah of Hosts, who dwells between the cherubs. And the two sons of Eli were there with the ark of the covenant of God, Hophni and Phinehas.
