To the chief musician, on the harp. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth; You have given Your glory above the heavens!
But will God in truth dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens and heaven of the heavens cannot contain You; how much less this house which I have built!
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I earnestly seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You, as in a dry and weary land without water.
But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ
For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, guileless, undefiled, and having been separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens;
And I heard as a sound of a large multitude, and as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of strong thunders, saying, Alleluia! Because the Lord God reigned, the Almighty.
