So they remembered that God was their Rock, and the Most High God their Redeemer.

They hurried and forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel;

They forgot God their deliverer, doing great things in Egypt;

Remember Your congregation; You bought them of old; You redeemed us as the rod of Your inheritance, this Mount Zion in which You have dwelt.

And they forgot His works and His wonders which He had made them see;

They did not remember His hand, on the day He redeemed them from the adversary;

so that they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.

In Your mercy You led the people whom You redeemed; You guided in Your strength to Your holy dwelling.

Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.

So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts: I am the First, and I am the Last; and there is no God except Me.

So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am Jehovah your God, teaching you to profit, leading you in the way you should go.

And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah your God redeemed you. On account of this I am commanding you this thing today.

But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, thick and sated. And he abandoned God who made him, and fell away from the Rock of his salvation.

He is the Rock; His work is perfect. For all His ways are just, a God of faithfulness, and without evil; a just and upright One is He.

But because Jehovah loved you, and because He kept the oath which He swore to your fathers, Jehovah has caused you to go out with a strong hand, and redeemed you from the house of slaves, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

And I prayed to Jehovah, and said, O Lord Jehovah, do not destroy Your people, and Your inheritance whom You have redeemed in Your greatness; whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
