Remember Your congregation; You bought them of old; You redeemed us as the rod of Your inheritance, this Mount Zion in which You have dwelt.

And the anger of Jehovah glowed against His people; and He detested His inheritance.

For Jehovah has chosen Jacob to Himself, Israel for His special treasure.

Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, the people He has elected for an inheritance to Him.

Why do you gaze in envy, O mountain range, at the mountain God desired for His dwelling? Yea, Jehovah will dwell in it forever.

You have redeemed Your people with Your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

Sing praises to Jehovah who dwells in Zion; declare His deeds among the nations.

For He remembers them, the ones seeking bloodshed; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted one.

For Jehovah will not leave His people, and not will He forsake His inheritance.

In Your mercy You led the people whom You redeemed; You guided in Your strength to Your holy dwelling.

Terrors and dread fell on them; by the greatness of Your arm they are silent as a stone, until Your people pass through, O Jehovah, until pass through the people whom You have bought.

Yea, the ransomed of Jehovah shall return and come to Zion with singing, and everlasting joy shall be on their head; gladness and joy shall overtake them; sorrow and sighing shall flee.

And they shall call them, The Holy People, the Redeemed of Jehovah. And to you it shall be called, Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem. All the day and all the night they shall not be silent always; you who remember Jehovah, let there not be a rest to you.

O Jehovah, why do You make us wander from Your ways? You harden our heart from Your fear. For Your servants’ sake, return the tribes of Your inheritance.

In all their affliction, He was not a foe; and the Angel of His Presence saved them. In His love and in His pity He redeemed them. And He bore them up, and He lifted them up all the days of old.

The Portion of Jacob is not like these. For He is the Former of all things; and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; Jehovah of Hosts is His name.

And they are Your people, and Your inheritance, whom You have brought out by Your great power, and by Your stretched out arm.
