I will thank Jehovah according to His righteousness and will praise the name of Jehovah most high.

May it whirl about the head of Joab, and on all his father’s house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that has a discharge, or that is leprous, or that leans on a staff, or who falls by the sword, or that lacks bread!

And Jehovah shall turn back his blood on his own head, who has fallen on two men more righteous and better than he, and murdered them with the sword; and my father David not knowing: Abner the son of Ner, the commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, the commander of the army of Judah.

His work is honorable and glorious; and His righteousness is standing forever.

A Psalm, A Song for the Sabbath Day. It is good to give thanks to Jehovah, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;

But You, O Jehovah, are exalted forever.

Jehovah has made known His salvation; He revealed His righteousness to the eyes of the nations.

The word is by the decree of the watchers, and the command and the affair is of the holy ones, so that the living may know that the Most High is ruling in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He will. And He sets up over it the lowliest of men.

And you shall be driven from men, and your abode shall be with the beast of the field. And you shall be fed with grass like oxen. And you shall be wet with dew of the heaven; and seven times shall pass over you until you have known that the Most High is ruling in the kingdom of men, and He gives it to whomever He desires.

And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to the heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High. And I praised and honored Him who lives forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom from generation and generation.

But the Most High does not dwell in temples made by hand, as the prophet says,

that the violence against Jerubbaal’s seventy sons, even their blood, might be put on their brother Abimelech who killed them, and on the leaders of Shechem who made his hands strong to kill his brothers.

And all the evil of the men of Shechem God turned back on their heads. And the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal came on them.
