For Jehovah hears the needy ones, and He does not despise His prisoners.

O Jehovah, You have heard the desire of the humble one; You will fix their heart; Your ear will hear.

He will turn to the prayer of the destitute one, and He will not despise their prayer.

to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to set free the sons of death,

Those who live in the darkness, and in the shadow of death, being prisoners in affliction and iron,

For the pain of afflicted ones, for the sighing of the needy ones, I will now rise up, says Jehovah; I will set in safety; he pants for it.

For so says Jehovah to the house of Israel, Seek Me, and live.

Seek Jehovah, and live, lest He rush like a fire on the house of Joseph, and devour it, and no one is quenching it for Bethel.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to proclaim the gospel to the poor ones; He has sent Me” to heal those being broken in heart, “to proclaim freedom to captives, and to the blind ones to see again,” to send away in freedom the ones being crushed,

Because of this, I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you, the nations,

Fear nothing of what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some from you into prison, so that you may be tried; and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
